Branching off near downtown Healdsburg, Westside Road is a remarkably concentrated corridor of wineries and tasting rooms. The long, windy road runs parallel to the Russian River, and you won't find a winery along it that doesn't make Pinot. Many of the grape's early, formative producers are here, like Williams-Selyem (where -- sorry -- tastings are available only to mailing list customers) and Rochioli. If you start in downtown Healdsburg and go all the way down Westside, until it bottoms out into Wohler Road and then River Road, you'll find yourself at the Farmhouse Inn, one of Sonoma's best restaurants. --Esther Mobley
