Casual & Affordable

Along Highway 12, this cozy tasting room is as welcoming as a countryside cottage. Perfect for walk-in tastings, the wall behind the tasting bar is a wide glass window that overlooks a picturesque view of the estate’s vineyard and the oak trees lining the distant hillsides. There is also an outside seating area where visitors can nurse a glass of wine and take in the scenery in the bright afternoon sun. Even being so close to Highway 12, the ambiance is peaceful and quiet.

But to the wine: There’s no hiding the fact that you may have seen a few of these bottles in supermarkets or BevMo. But while the label may not give you bragging rights at your next dinner party, the wines are solid. They are drinkable and a little more affordable than those at neighboring wineries. –February 2017

  • WHAT TO TRY: The Russian River rosé of Grenache is quite tasty, and the Merlot is supple and nicely balanced. But the real highlights are the Cabernet Sauvignons, which express juicy black fruit and great structure.
  • INSIDE INFO: This is a relaxing tasting experience hosted by a friendly staff. Weather permitting, be sure to take your wine outside and enjoy the striking view.
